Magnus Gilljam has been as of late primarily focused around musical theater, genre in which he has many productions to his credit at the Cochrane and Union Theaters in London, the New Players Theater, Trafalgar Studios, Tabard Theater, Union Theater, and Buxton Opera House, he is a classically trained pianist. In 1999 he moved to the UK to pursue post-gradue sutdies in accompaniment at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

He is now working as a freelance pianist and director in London.
