Tuition
Per two-week course (ART SONG I and ART SONG III), tuition is €1,320.
The price for the one-week course (ART SONG II) is only €660.
This includes:
Sixteen (45-minute long) individual lessons with voice teachers and coaches (8 in the case of Art Song Session II)
Participation in two public master classes (approx. 30 minutes alloted to each participant)
Eight hours of diction theory group classes (also applies to Art Song Session II)
Eight hours of applied diction group training (N/A during Art Song II)
Room and board
In addition, per two-week course, roam and board fees for singers are €980 (only €490 for the one-week, Art Song II course).
This includes:
Shared accomodation (double-room basis, shared with another participant of the same gender) over a two week period; (one week during Art Song II)
Daily continental breakfast and catered lunch.
Students may choose to make other arrangements for their accommodation and their meals if they wish to avoid paying the room and board fee. However, prospective participants should bear in mind that alone the cost of accommodation in a 3 star hotel in the area on a single-room basis typically amounts to approximately €75 per night, thus easily surpassing our room and board fees.
Not included:
Travel expenses to and from Sankt Goar including travel from Frankfurt Airport to Sankt Goar by train.
Any dinners (students can buy their own groceries and cook at the villa, or have dinner in downtown Sankt Goar, which is less than 5 minutes walking distance from the villa)
Legal fees (including visas, for students from countries which require a visa to enter Germany even as a tourist) or assistance securing visas, etc.;
Health insurance (students from non-EU countries must have medical insurance that covers them in Germany while participating in the program!)
Optional leisure/tourism activities.
Financial aid is no longer available for 2015.
Individuals who succesfully apply to a two-week Art Song program and a one-week Operatic Training Program (or more), for a total duration of three-weeks or more, are eligible for a 10% tuition discount
